Tobias, Malthe, Mikkel and Jens have been related for the most of their lifes, as friends and school mates.
One cold January in 2007, playing Jimi Hendrix’ hit ‘Fire’, the rock glue was there and they decided to form the band Old Appendix.
1993 - Denmark
Tobias Højgaard Sørensen (lead guitar, vocal) was born on February 5th in Hejnsvig.
Mikkel Steengård Bundesen (bass) was born on April 1st in Hejnsvig.
Jens Bøgeholm Madsen (drums) was born on September 1st in Grindsted.
Malthe Lindbjerg Nielsen (lead guitar, backing vocal) was born on December 22nd in Grindsted.
January 2007
Old Appendix are formed in the basement of Tobias’ home.
Old Appendix play live for the first time, with professional sound setup.
November 2008
Old Appendix submerged for a weekend and created a vision, strategy and action plan for how to achieve success with their music.
May 2009
Old Appendix received a 2nd place at the Quasar Rock Final at Jelling Musikfestival – the 2nd largest musical festival in Denmark.
March 2010
Old Appendix signed up (non-exclusive) with 272 Records in Hollywood, CA, USA for the release of ’Living The Life’ - on a compilation CD with other rock artists.
September 2010
Old Appendix is the winner of Mosten Raceday Music Award. 16 selected band have competed with a 1½ hour concert each. Old Appendix signed a contract to give a 1½ hour great concert in front of an audience of several thoursands people on the big stage.
